1930s porcelain light by Porcelier. Bath Kitchen Bedroom.

1 in stock

I’m very pleased to offer this rare and striking 1930s porcelain 3-bulb ceiling fixture by the famous Porcelier Company!

For many decades, Porcelier made some of the finest lighting fixtures and house wares (they closed in the 1950s). There’s a book on their work:

By Susan E. Grindberg

Most Porcelier fixtures have floral decals, but this fixture is unusual in having pretty flowers molded into the porcelain. Nice!

The fixture is ideal for a bathroom, powder room, kitchen, or small bedroom.

Please note the porcelain socket rings (sooooo distinctive), and the extremely rare porcelain finial.

For a long time I’ve had a dream. One day (cue dramatic music) a buyer will contact me. They, too, love love love Porcelier, and wonder if their whole house could be filled with nothing but Porcelier fixtures. I gasp! And reply: Why yes! Please just click here: PORCELIER

Wholly restored and with new wiring, this fixture is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed!

DETAILS: The fixture accepts standard base 60W bulbs (not included).
COLOR: The fixture is off-white with subtle bits of pink, blue, and orange flowers, and with pale green leaves.
SIZE: The fixture hangs down about 4-inches (without bulbs) and is almost 11-inches wide.

  • I love writing this: there’s no damage.
  • The porcelain sockets are original with new wiring.
