1930s 3-bulb porcelain ceiling fixture by Porcelier

1 in stock

I’m very pleased to offer this striking 3-bulb ceiling fixture by the famous Porcelier Company!

For many decades, Porcelier made some of the finest lighting fixtures and house wares (they closed in the 1950s). There’s a book on their work:
Collector’s Guide to Porcelier China
By Susan E. Grindberg

This fixture is one of their most dynamic. I love the strong Deco lines of this set, and the pretty, pale, lilac-colored flowers!

Please note the original Porcelier porcelain socket rings (so distinctive), and the very rare porcelain finial.

The fixture accepts a whopping 300W.

I normally have more in stock, including 2-bulb ceiling versions and sconces. So, if you need more just email me. I might have these additional fixtures already listed. If not, I will arrange an eBay BUY IT NOW if I can help with any additional fixtures!

For a long time I’ve had a dream. One day (cue dramatic music) a buyer will contact me. They, too, love love love Porcelier, and wonder if their whole house could be filled with nothing but Porcelier fixtures. I gasp! And reply: Why yes! Please just click here: PORCELIER

The fixture is ideal for a bathroom, powder room, kitchen, or small bedroom.

Wholly restored and with new wiring, this fixture is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed!

  • Sadly, the period-correct, hand-painted bulbs are not included. Happily, I will let you know where to get them.
  • Clear appliance size bulbs also look very well. They come in 60W or 40W, I believe, and cost much less!
  • The fixture accepts standard base 100W bulbs.

  • The main body is a creamy white. The flowers are pale lilac, and pale gold, with green leaves.

  • The fixture hangs down 4-1/2-inches and is 10-inches wide.

  • I love writing this: there’s no damage.
  • There are subtle manufacturing irregularities. This is normal for Porcelier.
  • The porcelain sockets are original with new wiring.
