1930s ceiling fixture by Porcelier

I’m very pleased to offer this fabulous 1930s ceiling fixture by the famous Porcelier company!

For many decades, Porcelier made some of the finest lighting fixtures and house wares (they closed in the 1950s). There’s a book on their work:
Collector’s Guide to Porcelier China
By Susan E. Grindberg

The highly animated shade is rich with relief, and beautifully, stunningly molded out of thick thick glass. There are sweeping designs of flowers and stylized leaves.

The ceiling mount is porcelain and also has stylized leaves! There is a brilliant band of gold, too.

The shade and ceiling mount are original to each other, as is the brass finial. Nice.

The fixture (at 14-inches wide) is scaled for a bedroom or foyer.

There are three porcelain sockets (distinctive, and also by Porcelier) and these have all new wiring.

With new wiring, this fixture is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed!

DETAILS: The fixture accepts three standard base 60W bulbs (not included).
COLOR: Frosted glass. Off-white ceiling canopy. Gold.
SIZE: The fixture hangs down about 7-1/2-inches and is 14-inches wide.
I love writing this: there’s no damage.
The porcelain sockets are original with new wiring.
SHIPPING: Insured shipping in the Continental US will be…FREE!
