1920s pan chandelier
1 in stock
I’m very pleased to offer this 1920s pan-style chandelier!
The chandelier is remarkable for three reasons.
First, it’s almost entirely original. The finial and chain and ceiling canopy are all original.
Second, the finish, too, is original! It’s a kinda silvery gray, and with gold highlights. It’s in very good vintage condition. Just lovely.
Third, the chandelier is of a higher quality than is normally seen. The cast brass arms are exquisitely detailed, for example.
All the wiring is new, of course, and the exposed wiring is cloth covered like the original. Nice.
Pan-style fixture were wildly popular during the 1910s, 1920s, and 1930s and were used in every style house.
This fixture is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed!
- The fixture accepts standard base 60W bulbs (not included).
- The fixture is brass and retains its original painted finish.
COLOR: See above.
SIZE: The fixture hangs down almost 35-inches and is 19-inches wide. I can remove up to 14-inches of chain; I can add chain.
- The turn-key sockets are original (and in fine shape) with new wiring and paper insulators.
- As noted, the painted finish is original and in very good vintage condition. There are minor bits of loss and subtle scuffs.
