Description

I’m very pleased to offer this rare circa-1910 gas/electric pendant!

The fixture was gas originally, then later converted to electricity.

The fixture is an early Mission style, with vestiges of an earlier era (the gas valves).

The star-burst glass shades are also rare. I have never seen this particular design before.

The fixture is mostly brass. The lower section appears to be copper (or copper-plate).

The fixture is not restored yet. It appears that it was renewed about 30 years ago. The wiring was replaced, the whole polished, and then lacquered. I will rewire, and also plan on removing the lacquer (unless you would rather keep it).

This fixture will be shipped ready to hang, and with all the mounting hardware needed!

DETAILS: The fixture accepts standard base 60W bulbs (not included).
COLOR: Brass. Copper.
SIZE: See above. The fixture hangs down 33-inches and is 29-inches wide. I might be able to adjust the height.
CONDITION:

  • The shades have no chips or cracks. They have some subtle manufacturing irregularities.
  • The brass has some small dings.
  • The turn-key sockets are very old. They will be newly wired, and with new paper insulators.

SHIPPING: Insured shipping in the Continental US will be…FREE!
