1905 circa Early Electric sconce
1 in stock
I’m very pleased to offer this exceedingly rare and extraordinary Early Electric sconce!
The mostly brass sconce attaches directly to a wall, and swivels right/left.
The long cord is new, and cloth-covered like the original.
The shade is white glass.
The wall mount is black-painted cast-iron.
This sconce can be used as a reading light, or in a kitchen.
The socket has a turn-key switch.
I only gently polished the patina.
With the long arm at a right angle to the wall, the sconce projects 24-inches (including shade). The more you move the arm right/left, the more this distance decreases. The arm is also adjustable up/down depending on how you position it in the wall mount. And even the socket is adjustable! It can move closer to the wall, or farther away.
The shade is 8-inches wide. The socket fitter is 2-1/4-inches.
This fixture is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed!
DETAILS: The fixture accepts one standard base 60W bulb (not included).
